Every profile is built on established, peer-reviewed frameworks and modern study science — then overseen by registered psychologists, with family profiles individually reviewed before release.
Big Five / OCEAN — the consensus model in academic psychology. (We avoid MBTI-style type tools.)
RIASEC / Holland — the most widely validated model of vocational interests.
VIA strengths + adaptability — a strengths-first, non-deficit lens.
Short screening tasks modelled on recognised paradigms (digit span, Corsi, matrix reasoning) — to inform study strategy, not to diagnose.
Retrieval practice, spacing, dual coding and metacognition — among the most robust findings in learning science.
Every profile is built and overseen by registered psychologists — family profiles individually reviewed, and for school cohorts, flagged profiles reviewed before release. A learning profile — not a clinical diagnosis.
The idea that matching teaching to a ‘visual / auditory / kinaesthetic’ style improves learning has been repeatedly tested and is not supported by the evidence (Pashler et al., 2008; Willingham). Some tools still sort students this way — we don’t.
We’re running a staged validation program — reliability, construct validity, norms and outcomes — ideally with a university partner under ethics approval.
